Choral Fantasy was composed by Ananda Sukarlan (b. 1968) based on the poem "Belavita" (A beautiful life) by the late W.S. Rendra. It was commissioned by Paragita Choir in 2009 to commemorate the death of the poet. In this video it is sung by Monarch Orcaellanum Luminare Choir, conducted by Angela Astri Soemantri, with solo soprano by Melissa Christina and the composer himself on the piano.
