The staff and students of the Pelita Harapan University of diverse musical instruments will present a concert of the music by Ananda Sukarlan. This concert is the result of the intensive work by the students and professors at the Pelita Harapan University with the world class composer Ananda Sukarlan who is invited for masterclasses at UPH.

The Maestro himself will perform his latest work, the virtuosic "Rapsodia Nusantara" this time based on some children folk tunes from Java. The UPH visiting professor Dr. Kazuha Nakagara (Japan) will give the world premiere of 2 Etudes by Ananda Sukarlan, while the students will complete the performance of the 5 Etudes. Harpist Maria Pratiwi will give the first Indonesian performance of 2 numbers from "Vega and Altair" which was just premiered in Esplanade (Singapore) this November.
